Coachella 2018 Lineup Revealed!
Who’s up to party?!
Music fans unite! After months of inactivity on social media, The 2018 Coachella Music and Arts Festival has finally dropped the list of acts that will be performing at the event. And the list, revealed on January 2, Tuesday, is packed with star-studded names, such as headliners Canadian R&B singer the Weeknd, pop diva Beyoncé and Detroit rapper Eminem to name a few.
Promoted by Goldenvoice, the two-weekend event to be held in Indio, California, will mark the opening of the festival season this year. The first run will be on April 13-15, while the next event will be on April 20-22. The first day, Friday, will be headlined by The Weekend, while Beyoncé and Eminem will be headlining the Saturday and Sunday event, respectively.

Not one headliner is a first timer to the Coachella stage. Beyoncé has already made guest appearances with husband Jay-Z and her sister, Solange on the previous years. Last year, she was tapped to be one of the headliners of the festival, but had to postpone her performance due to her being pregnant with twins, Rumi and Sir. Meanwhile, Eminem, along with Tupac 2.0, appeared on the main stage way back 2012 as Dr. Dre’s guest, while The Weekend already performed on the stage three times, twice on the bill and once last year as a guest.
Regarding all the acts, there is no rock act in sight. According to LA Times, this year’s festival is the first time on not headlining a rock act. The change has transferred the spotlight towards rap, which includes Post Malone, Vince Staples, Migos, Brockhampton and Princess Nokia. But, there will be guitars present as War on Drugs, Alt-J, Priests, Fidlar, Fleet Foxes, Cherry Glazerr and the Regrettes will appear on their respective dates.
Advanced tickets for the festival already went on sale last year, June 2. But, fans can still grab theirs on the regular ticket selling that will be on Friday, Jan. 5 at 12 p.m. PST. Meanwhile, their partner site, Valley Music Travel, also offers packages that include lodging, transportation services and tickets for the venue.
