Attack on Titan Season 3 to Arrive in 2018
The second season of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) wrapped up on Saturday with the season finale episode “Scream” and it caps the short and yet eventful second season for the anime franchise.
Unlike the first season that ran for 25 episodes, the second season was a short run consisting of 12 episodes.
Fans were left wondering when will the third season is due as there is a four year span between season 1 in 2013 and season 2 this year. However, Shingeki no Kyojin quickly confirmed that fans will need not wait for long as the third season is due for next year, in sometime in 2018.
In a tweet from the franchise’s official twitter account, 2018 is the confirmed date for season 3.

With the conclusion of season 2, a short video was released that featured a series of teaser images of what is to be expected for season 3.
From the short video teaser, season 3 of Attack on Titan promises a longer season set with two eventful arcs that the manga has wrapped up. Fans of the manga who are quite up to date with the events know that there will be a large implication surrounding scout Krista Lenz and her real name “Historia” as well as a large scale assault within the horizon as heralded by the appearance of the Beast Titan.
