Global WebForce in Bacolod Improving the Digital Presence of Businesses in the Region

IN BACOLOD

Bacolod City, Negros Occidental – The Global WebForce team was in Bacolod City last week, from May 21 – May 25, 2018 in order to meet with business owners in providing a free information talk on how businesses can leverage online technologies such as Websites, Social Media and Online advertising in expanding their reach across the vast online marketplace.

By expanding their digital presence whether on Facebook or via online advertising, local businesses in Bacolod are able to reach potential customers and their target market. This allows them to cross the physical barriers and increase their business exposure with the increasing number of Filipinos who are living digital lifestyles.

The city of Bacolod is one of Visayas’ favorite destinations all year round due to the region’s history, great food, friendly hospitality and its unique tourist festivities known as the Masskara Festival. Having an online presence will allow local businesses to grow, according to Hitesh Parekh, the Managing Director of Global WebForce. He lead the team in meeting local business owners and the local government based on a successful series of engagement talks about online presence being a factor in today’s modern business.

“Going online or digital allows local businesses here in Bacolod to reach future customers,” said Hitesh Parekh. “Online, you can advertise and introduce your business from Bacolod to Metro Manila. This will allow you to be part of their “must try” or “must visit” list when they arrive as tourists.”

Having visited the city of Bacolod and meeting several business owners as well as the local government heads, Global WebForce will soon launch a number of programs that will help businesses overcome local barriers to marketing that will effectively multiply their reach. In an ongoing engagement with the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Go Negosyo centers, the Global WebForce team is dedicated in helping regional businesses take their products nationwide and even perhaps go global.
